Got a new iPhone/iPad or Android device and would like to continue using our apps? This guide explains how to set up the S-pushTAN-App and App Sparkasse Business on a new phone/tablet and what you’ll need to do so.

Download the latest version of the app, which is free, from the Apple or Google Play Store onto your phone or tablet.

In order to set up the Sparkassen apps on a new device, you will need your online banking login details.

Quick setup guide for setting up the S-pushTAN-App on a new device:

Bluetooth on both old and new device + camera

Security always comes first: Banking apps cannot be automatically transferred to other smartphones. If you already have the S-pushTAN-App installed on your old smartphone, you can use the “New device” option to easily and quickly transfer all of your data to the new phone. What you’ll need:

  • Bluetooth activated on your old and new smartphone/tablet
  • A working pushTAN connection and a camera on your old device for scanning the QR code

When setting up the app a repeat time, you will be asked to enter your card number. This is why it is important to have your Sparkassen-Card to hand. The card number is on the back of the card.

Do you only use the S-pushTAN-App to authorize online card payments? If so, you can also set up the S-pushTAN-App with your activation password and your 16-digit card number. The activation password is in the letter sent to you with the initial registration letter for the S-pushTAN-App. The 16-digit card number is on the front of your card.
